Canadian Council of Imams Visited ICNA Milton
It was an honor and a pleasure for Islamic Community Centre of Milton to host a meeting on Monday July 11, 2011 for Canadian Council of Imams at their Centre. The several Imams and the Muslim Leadership from all parts of GTA and surrounding areas were gathered together to share and to resolve the Muslim Community issues under a one roof of Islamic Community Centre of Milton.
Many famous Imams like Imam Dr. Hamid Slimi, Imam Abdul Hai Patel, Imam Dr. Iqbal M. Al-Nadvi, Imam Adam Esse, Imam Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick, Imam Nafees Bhayat, Qari Naeem, Imam Abdur Rashid, Imam Hafiz Irshad, Imam Ayman Tahir, Imam Hafiz Faizan, Imam Yisuf Badat, Imam Omar Subedar and many other equally respected Imams gathered together to bring up the very important issues related to Muslim Communities all around the GTA and it’s surrounding areas.
Some important issues like calculating timings for Prayers specially in Ramadhan for Isha Prayers based on scientific reasoning under the light of Fiqh of Islam, the TDSB principal stand and Toronto students Friday Prayers arrangements, Muslim Community Services and Community Projects offered at different Masajids, Dawah Project in North Pole Nunavut – Canada were discussed.
The Management of ICNA Milton will be delighted to host such meeting for CCI in the future.
